The Web Server Unit is a piggyback board that used the I2C interface or the serial interface to communicate between the UPB and a folly integrated embedded webserver. The Web server is based on a 80186 chip with a total of 256K ram and 256K Flash memory. |
The unit contains a complete webserver that processes standard HTML pages and provides SMTP, FTP and DHCP interfaces. The unit van be connected directly to a TCP/IP connection and is approached as a full webserver. Using a software interface on the chio a direct HTTP connection is provided as well as communication with the UPB through webpages. |
