Development
Software |
|
| |
 |
The
development of software for the UPB offer maximum freedom
both for experienced and inexperienced developers. |
|
|
| |
Inexperienced
developers |
|
| |
For inexperienced
developers a visual development environment is provided that helps
connecting the definitions of the various system components. |
|
| |
All
selected components will have the appropriate software generated and
can be loaded into the flash memory of the UPB using the standard
serial interfaces of the UPB. |
|
| |
No
extra hardware is required to program the UPB. |
|
| |
All
rquired software is generated in assemble for fast processing. Compilation
is done using the standard assembled, that may be downloaded from
the MicroChip site. |
|

|
| |
Experienced
developers |
|
| |
Experienced
developers may use the generated software as a starting point or
do their own development. A standard assembler may be used, but
also commercially available C compilers may be used. Development
is done with the standard MPLAB development environment that may
be downloaded from the MicroChip site. |
|
| |
Programming
and testing may be done, using the In Cicuit Debugger (ICD) for
which a connector is present on the UPB board. Programming may also
be done without the use of an ICD, provided all software is available
in the standard HEX format, using the HPBTester bootloader. |
