Park Simulator
The Park Simulator is a system that permits creation of a model of an entire park in which the capacities of attractions, restaurants and roads may be defined. By defining the number of visitors, family member profiles and behavior patterns, simulations may be made of the occupancy and the waiting times.
  Calculating Waiting Times
Using a totally automated system, simulations may be made, using a variety of behavioral patterns, combinations of visitor profiles, arrival times and occupancy rates. Per attraction the waiting times are calculated, depending on the defined resources and the parameter settings. Various reports are provided. Using this system alternative strategies and changes in the park may be simulated.
  Capacity Calculations
Capacity calculations may be made for all attractions, shops, restaurants and roads with various reports per time unit from various viewpoints.
  Flow Analysis
By defining behavior patterns and the collected waiting time information and the occupancy data of roads, detailed flow analyses may be made, especially useful to gain insight into the possible results of planned changes in the infrastructure of a park. By connecting visitor flow counting sensors and using sensors placed with attractions an effective combination of measurement data and simulations.
