Multi Motions
develops several simpe, affordable robot platforms that are used
to construct experimental robots, based on a range of standard components.
These components and platforms differ from other existing components
by the following properties:
- Large number of
I/O ports. 8 x A/D and 20 digital I/O pins
- Wide range
of processor capacities. From 4 - 50 mHz and from 4 - 32 Kb
- Several PC
interfaces are available. RS232, USB, CAN and an embedded TCP/IP
Web Server interface.
- Stackable
bus architecture for several piggyback boards.
- Collection
of plug-in boards with interfaces for servo- and motor control,
advanced movement detectors, sonar interface and several other
sensors and actuators.
- Affordable
platform for rolling and walking robots for study- and prototype
purposes.
- Software
generator using a visual development environment for all standard
components allow inexperienced programmers to quickly assemble a system.
- Access to
all system function from the standard programming environment
allows experienced programmers to directly control low level
funcionality.
- Open source
