The motion sensor unit is a sensor that is capable of measuring both accelleration as angle. The sensor may be used in a vertical or horizontal position and measures acelleration of up to 2G and angles of up to 90°.

The tiny option boards with the sensor are mounted on the CSU board that can optionally be equipped with a compass sensor and a CAN interface.
